holidays

I was wondering if anyone can help here. I would love to go on holiday, but, It is hard to accomodate 1 adult and 4 kids. Accomodation is usually for 4 people. Is there an easy way to pay off for holidays, and where is good to go?

Thomson have holidays for single parents, as do onthecasetravel.com and SinglewithKids. Holidayrentals do some good special offers ...if you can get last minute cheap flights! Finding a cheap holiday is not too difficult, but flight costs and airport taxes were always the reason I could never take my children on holiday, when I was a single parent. You could try alpharooms to find the cheapest flight, or travelrepublic.

and make it in France. Hire a minibus to share driving, pop on ferry and have a fab holiday time. Plenty of adult time and kids organise themselves

Easy answer to this. MamaP you weren't far off. Join up with another family you know and get on with. Find a big villa somewhere to share

I have just written a long comment and lost it! Here it goes again- Find a friend with 2 kids then you have 2x4=8 people, then put the kids in an activiy centre for an adventure holiday and you go to the sun with your friend!:) only joking. As for easy payment? Maybe try an interest free credit card, making sure you make large payments every month so it's cleared before the interest starts. This of course depends on your finances, but I wouldn't advise going into debt for a holiday. Do you want a foreign holiday or holiday in this country?
