Zap those muscles with a slendertone belt. Ouch!...lazy, but effective.

Pilates is great but I find it so boring! I have done a few classes and found them very easy and been clock watching. Maybe my mistake was going in with older ladies when I am reasonably fit and strong. I found the music sending me to sleep too, I could barely hear it and it sounded like lift music! I think I would prefer a more upbeat approach with some enthusiasm from the instructor. It makes me laugh being told to pull up my front passage, or whatever they say. I will give it another go at some point though as I know how good it is for you.

I do a lot of exercise and find that Pilates is a great way to improve core stength and stability, I have recently been recovering from an injury and have been using pilates based exercises in my rehabilitation which have helped immensely.

I’ve just tried a thing called ‘The Superman’ and got put off when the dog just sat looking at me as if I’d gone completely mad. Another suggested I squeeze my gluteals and I couldn’t see how that was going to improve my spine so gave up. Joking aside this something we should all pay attention to. Pilates is a for of exercising isn't it? Assuming that's where you get your name from maybe you could educate us.

Sit (and work) on a blow-up ball! - Great for your lungs as well! :)
