The One show today seemed rather short on ideas to fill its half hour. So they succumbed to some shit propaganda instead.
Apparently its difficult to see anything good coming from the current war in Afghanistan (they tell us patronisingly) but actually NHS services are improving thanks to staff experiencing war conditions and techniques. Also historically this has always been the case, techniques in shrapnel removal and the burns treatments apparently took huge strides forwards thanks to WW1 & WW2 respectively.
All rather jolly, what an interesting spin on the otherwise emotional subject of poorly paid troops being sent to fight a pointless unwinnable war and getting blown to pieces doing it.
Its such a marvellous idea, this war helps medicine doctrine, perhaps I ought to stop donating to Cancer Charities, stock up on some munitions hire a plane and bomb the shit out of France for the hell of it. Bound to help in some way. Besides its the French, their too fucking smug about their superior health service anyway.
If BBC programs like the One show are short on ideas, they should stick on Kate Humble and let her bleat on about Lambs, not spread false positives while botox for brains guest Tess Daly looks on like some stunned blow up doll.
I expect better from you Chiles.

And not all of them are to do with shooting the other bloke. Personally I'd rather hold progress up for a while and do away with the fighting bit. That seems far more appealing to me.
